Tuon Nickeldeonin postaaman uutisen alkuperäinen lähde on todennäköisesti Wrestling Observer Radio, jossa asiasta puhuttiin, mutta noille copy & paste -uutissivustoille tyypillisesti pari olennaisinta asiaa on kerrottu huolimattomasti. Toinen vähän harhaanjohtava lause on tämä "the overall feeling within the company is that Heyman is in fact TNA bound", koska on mainittu vain, että TNA:n johtoportaassa uskotaan vahvasti tuohon. Ja hehän uskovat mihin tahansa, kuten Vince Russon saavutuksiin ja tuohonkin jo ennen edellistä ppv:tä, eikä Heyman ole seuraavaankaan tulossa.
Muutaman viime viikon parhaat uutiset ovat kuitenkin indy-promootioista:
Figure Four Weekly kirjoitti:There was a ROBBERY at the Tulalip Championship Wrestling show I worked this weekend. Some shady-looking dudes were hanging around the front door while everyone was in the back changing and one of them suddenly rushed up, grabbed the cash box and fled. Promoter Caden Mathews happened to be in the parking lot and saw the rushing out with the box. He chased after them as they jumped into a getaway van that was parked in front of the building. Caden actually jumped into the van, but they kicked at him and he fell out and was actually dragged a few feet before falling out. He got up and a car pulled up and just like in a movie he jumped inside and said "FOLLOW THAT CAR!" The car happened to be driven by one of the wrestler's dads. So they zoomed off following the van. They drove down the freeway, across a trestle, into a neighboring town, and the van finally pulled up in front of a Haggen grocery store. Caden, who had been calling 911 unsuccessfully (they didn't answer or call him back), got out of the car, went up to the van, threw the door open and screamed, "GIVE ME THE FUCKING MONEY BACK!" There were three guys in there and a giant woman driving, and it reeked of alcohol. They started giving the money back $1 at a time, and the police ended up showing up and surrounding them. Of course, the first thing they saw was four people handing over money to a very angry-looking man and assumed Caden was robbing them. The situation was quickly explained. The robbers were arrested and identified, and Caden came back to work the show later in the evening.
Wrestling Observer Newsletter kirjoitti:How’s this for the indie story of the week. Sid Vicious, whose rep for reliability is known worldwide, was scheduled for Dreamwave Wrestling on 6/5 in LaSalle, IL. The promotion got word that Vicious hadn’t gotten on the plane to Chicago that morning to come to the show. They spent all day trying to reach him with no luck. He finally called back and told the promotion that when he got to the airport, he realized he forgot to bring his passport so they wouldn’t let him board the flight. Yes, because you need a passport to fly from Memphis to Chicago. At the show, a nearby town (Streator, IL) was hit with two tornados and several homes were destroyed, including those of some fans at the show. One fan who lost his home noted that if they hadn’t have gone to the show, they may have been killed as their house was destroyed by the tornado.
