Rock was asked about how much of his old ring outfits he still owns and he commented, "I still own it all. It's still with me in my house. It was never going away because I knew I would one day use it again."

He was then asked, "So does that mean you're coming back to fight as well?"

Rock responded,"Making movies is something that I love to do, and I know that it brings a lot of people joy, which in turn brings me and my soul great gratification. Being in the ring and entertaining the audience and kicking ass physically brings me and my soul great gratification as well. I can guarantee that I can always do both."

Big difference from his past comments about being done in the ring!

Representatives of WGN America confirmed via email this afternoon that WWE Superstars will conclude its run on the network on Thursday 4/7. They declined to cite a reason the series was leaving the network.

I can confirm that the series was on WGN's schedule through August several weeks ago, so it may be that contractually, WWE and WGN have come to the end of their deal and a new one was not signed.

When asking around today, no one within WWE that I spoke with seemed to have any clear indication as to what the series' future entailed. If the show is indeed dropped altogether, that's a move that has a lot of talents worried.

As we reported several weeks back in the Elite section, WWE has discussed dropping a good amount of lower card talent after Wrestlemania as a cost-cutting move after their poor financial quarters. The loss of Superstars would certainly make a lot of those talents much more expendable to management.

The current incarnation of Superstars debuted in 2009 on WGN America. Superstars does have international clearances, so it's entire possible that WWE could continue it for those markets while broadcasting it via WWE.com in the United States as they do with NXT. It's also possible that Tough Enough (which debuts the same week) could just replace Superstars for those international markets. All that. however, is just conjecture.

Tommy Fierro's www.PoptheCrowd.com website reported that WWE filmed an angle yesterday at Miami Mike's Sports Zone in East Hanover, NJ.

In the angle, Lay-Cool enter a bar searching for Snooki and Trish Stratus, which leads to a bar room brawl involving the four. Lay-Cool end up being put through a table during the brawl. There's also a scene where Snooki punches out a guy trying to hit on her.

According to the Fierro site, Snooki showed up several hours late for the shoot, which was produced by Dave Finlay and Creative team member Ranjin Singh.

The website also noted that Snooki was telling those working at the bar that once Jersey Shore was done, she would be working for WWE full-time as a Diva.

The angle will air this Monday as part of the Wrestlemania go-home Raw.
