According to an article by Glamorousones.com, a deal has been finalized between Justin Bieber and WWE to have the pop star perform at Wrestlemania 27 on Sunday, April 3 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Emailers...of which there have many many...Why is it that so many people think that it's going to be Rock vs. Cena at WM27 in a wrestling match? Rock has said publically that his in ring wrestling days are history. End of story. It was made clear Monday night that Rock was going to HOST Wrestlemania. Is it possible to see some sort of physical interaction in Atlanta's Georgia Dome between 'the Great One' and Cena? Of course, any thing is possible....except Rock wrestling in an official match but that doesn't mean that the potential for physicality doesn't exist.

Got a great email when I returned home from Memphis from Dwayne Johnson who was still pumped about his MNR experience in Anaheim. I had emailed 'The Rock' late Monday night about how proud I was of him for his amazing performance on RAW and he hit me back and indicated that I would love what he was planning on doing at WM27. Big time players play their best in big games and there's no bigger game in WWE than Wrestlemania and no bigger game day player than the Rock. He always did his best work at major events including his WM17 bout vs. Stone Cold and Rock's memorable W'Mania bout in Toronto vs. Hulk Hogan, among many other stellar performances that I was lucky enough to broadcast.

On a night full of surprises, the retrun of Christian during WWE Elimination Chamber shined as one of the more welcome ones. The Captain of Charisma exploded on Alberto Del Rio, who had torn his pectoral muscle and sidelined him for months. In an exclusive interview, WWE.com's own Joey Styles sat down with the Superstar to find out how he ended up inside the Elimination Chamber with the Mexican elitist and what his plans are for the future.

WWE.COM: What were you doing in Oakland?

Christian: I was on my way to physical therapy in Florida and accidentally got on the interstate heading west. For the life of me I couldn't find anywhere to turn around and the next thing I knew, I was in Oakland where Elimination Chamber was. What a coincidence!

WWE.COM: How has your recovery been from the torn pectoral muscle inflicted on you by Alberto Del Rio?

Christian: I'm not going to lie, it was the hardest thing I've had to overcome in my entire professional career. There were days I wondered if I'd ever be able to compete again. But the reaction from my peeps, not only in Oakland but the entire WWE Universe, reminded me why I worked so hard to get back. And who knows? If I hadn't been injured by Del Rio maybe I would have won the Royal Rumble and it would be me challenging for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania.

WWE.COM: When will you be medically cleared to compete?

Christian: I don’t have a definite date yet, but I’m hopeful that it will be in the next few weeks. I'm not planning on missing WrestleMania.

WWE.COM: Any words for Alberto Del Rio?

Christian: Payback's a b**** ... but you already know that, Alberto. (laughs)

The plan for the former Mistico is to bring him right to the main roster as opposed to having him spend time in FCW learning American style and English. I’m really surprised by this. The idea is that since it cost so much to get him, they need to make him a valuable player as soon as possible. Whether this is short-sighted thinking or not will be better viewed in hindsight. My impression is he will have a new name and a newly designed mask, but that they want to also make sure the Mexican-Americans and Mexican fans know it is the former Mistico under the mask.

CHRIS JERICHO'S BIG ANNOUNCEMENT WAS....

Chris Jericho's announcement in front of Nokia Theater LA was that he will be hosting the Revolver Golden God awards on VH1 Classic on 4/20. Jericho's band Fozzy will also be performing that night.

Jericho yrittää kai kilpailla TNA:n kanssa näiden suurten ilmoitusten tasossa. Toki hän jo pari päivää sitten sanoi, että tuo liittyy Fozzyyn, joten mitään kovin kiinnostavaa ei voinutkaan odottaa.
