WWF:ssäkin Hakushina painineen Jinsei Shinzakin () kodin ja ravintoloiden luultiin kärsineen pahasti Japanin maanjäristyksissä, mutta ihan niin huonosti ei tainnut käydä ja tämä ainakin on mieltä lämmittävä uutinen:

An update on Jinsei Shinzaki. He has two ramen noodle restaurants in Sendai, which is near the epicenter of the earthquake. Both were damaged but they are both back operational. He is not living in his car, although he sort of has been. He’s been driving nine to ten hours daily since the earthquake. His supplier is in Tokushima, and he gets his supplies daily shipped from Tokushima to Niigata. He then drives daily to Niigata to pick up supplies. He also brings ramen soup and cooks it up at shelters on a daily basis. He goes to shelters and allows people to eat all the ramen noodles they can, and said he’s been serving up more than 300 bowls daily at different shelters to people who have lost their homes in the earthquake. For many, it’s the first hot meal they’ve had since the earthquake. He said, it’s “a great day for ramen chef.” Michinoku Pro Wrestling, the company he works for, is touring Kyushu, a Southern island, since they can’t do much in their normal territory. Shinzaki opted out of the tour because he had to drive so much to keep his restaurant open and to feed the homeless.

Whatin kanssa olen useimmiten ihan eri mieltä, joten pitää jo siksi nyt kerran puolustaa hänen näkemystään. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... highway patrol in Grand Forks found Angle sitting in his car in the median separating lanes. We're told Angle told cops he had hit an icy patch in the road. During the conversation, cops say they smelled alcohol on Angle's breath. He failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.

Since cops didn't see Angle driving, he was arrested and later charged with being in control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated -- which basically means he was allegedly drunk behind the wheel but not actually driving.

I have to say, though, talking about the whole ring rust thing, John Cena has had about 2,000 matches in the last seven years. The Rock? A big, fat zero.

So when it comes to ring rust, I don't care what type of athlete you are, and The Rock is obviously an athletic dude, but Cena has been in the ring. He's been at every show and in every show and making appearances and he has been on the road with the WWE over 300 days a year for the last seven years. The Rock? Virtually non-existent.

You see the interviews that The Rock does and he says that he doesn't want to be known as a wrestler. He doesn't want to be known as a sports entertainer or a performer with WWE or a WWE superstar. He wants to be known as an actor.

Now all of a sudden he's back in our world telling the fans what they want to hear. He's telling them: "I promise that I will never go away again. I promise that I'm back for good and that I'm here to stay." He said that, what, six or seven weeks ago? Have we even seen him live since then? No. Via satellite.

I think Cena will own The Rock. I think Cena is wittier and can go off the cuff. Cena writes his own stuff while The Rock has stuff written for him.

It just all comes down to who you are in the ring and what kind of performer you are in the ring, and I think Cena is ten times the performer in the ring that The Rock is.

This Monday in Chicago, he'll prove it.

The story making the rounds is that The Miz was booked to come out and interrupt the national anthem during a house show in Champaign, IL over the weekend in order to cut a promo that would set up himself vs. Randy Orton to open the card. There were a number of representatives for the national Guard, who are a HUGE partner and sponsor for WWE, in attendance. Obviously, they were not pleased with the anthem being used to get heel heat.

When word made it's way back to WWE management, the decision was made to release Finlay, who as the top Producer of the show, "had to fall on the sword", as it was described to me.
