SmackDown! (5.8.2011)

1. Show'n alussa ilmoitetaan, että Sheamus tulee ottelemaan Mark Henryä vastaan SummerSlamissa.

2. Singles Match: Sheamus voittaa The Great Khalin Brogue-potkullaan. Khali dominoi alkuottelua, mutta lopulta Sheamus pääsee matsiin mukaan.

3. Singles Match: Natalya voittaa AJ:n Sharpshooterilla. Ottelun jälkeen Natalya käy AJ:n kimppuun ja sanoo mikrofoniin pitävänsä yhtä Beth Phoenixin kanssa ja että "söpöjen diivojen päivät ovat ohi". Natalyasta tuli siis Bethin tapaan heel.

4. Zack Ryder ilmoittaa, että myöhemmin show'ssa on luvassa State of the Showski -niminen segmentti.

5. Singles Match: Daniel Bryan voittaa Tyson Kiddin luovutuksella. Wade Barrett oli seuraamassa ottelua selostajien joukossa. Daniel Bryanilla on uusi sisääntulomusiikki.

6. Randy Ortonia haastatellaan backstagella. Orton myöntää, ettei kykene aina hallitsemaan kiukunpuuskiaan. SummerSlamissa se ei kuitenkaan tule häiritsemään Ortonia kuulemma ollenkaan, koska siitä on pelkästään hyötyä No Holds Barred -ottelussa.

7. Zack Ryder saapuu kehään. Pian sinne saapuu myös Ezekiel Jackson, joka utelee Raiderilta, miksi tämä bookkasi hänet alivoimaotteluun viime viikolla. Silloin Cody Rhodes ja Ted DiBiase astelevat kehään. Ryder koettaa bookata ottelua Jacksonin ja DiBiasen välille. Paikalle ilmestyvä Theodore Long kuitenkin kieltää sen, ja bookkaa sen sijaan Ryderin Jacksonia vastaan otteluun, jonka aikana Rhodes ja DiBiase eivät saa olla kehäalueella.

8. Singles Match: Ezekiel Jackson squashaa Zack Ryderin.

Kozlov kuljetettiin kehästä paareilla pois, joten voipi olla, että Vladdu lähtee Kanen ja Big Show'n tapaan pikkuiselle kayfabe-saikulle.

11. Backstagella Sheamus hypettää hänen ja Henryn tulevaa SummerSlam-matsia.

12. 6-Man Tag Team Match: David Otunga, Michael McGillicutty ja JTG voittavat Trent Barretan ja Uson veljekset.

13. Ilmoitetaan, että Johnny Curtis tulee tekemään debyyttinsä ensi viikon SmackDownissa.

14. Christian puhuu Randy Ortonista backstagella. R-Truth tulee paikalle ja alkaa syöttää Christianillekin samaa vanhaa salaliittoteoriapuppuaan.

15. Tag Team Match: Christian ja R-Truth voittavat Randy Ortonin ja John Morrisonin. Christian selättää Ortonin.

Kaksi loistavaa matsia (eritoten Daniel Bryan vs. Tyson Kidd, mutta oli Orton & Morrison vs. Truth & Christiankin hemmetin hyvää settiä), D-Bryanin uuden tunnarin debyytti, Sheamuksen hyviskauden kunnollinen startti (tätä miestä tullaan rakastamaan), Natalyan tulinen heel turn, Aksanan ja Teddy Longin absurdi segmentti Longin toimistossa ja hauska State of the Showski -kohtaus. Koko ajan sattui ja tapahtui. Hyvää menoa, sanon mä.

* Dark Match: Brodus Clay beat a local wrestler. The local wrestler looked like Big Country Jody K of All Pro Wrestling.

* Triple H opens the show and announces Randy Orton vs. The Great Khali, Daniel Bryan vs. Alberto Del Rio and Cody Rhodes vs. Ezekiel Jackson with the Intercontinental Title on the line for tonight. World Heavyweight Champion Christian comes out and wants to talk to the WWE COO. Christian threatens to sue Triple H if he doesn't change the SummerSlam match against Randy Orton. Triple H says Christian has no respect and will still face Orton on Sunday and be in action tonight.

* Sheamus beat Christian by count out. Christian walked off and stood at the ramp as the referee counted him out.

* Natalya and Beth Phoenix beat AJ Lee and Kaitlyn. Face pop for Beth and Natalya here. Beth pinned AJ while Natalya put Kaitlyn in the Sharpshooter.

* Backstage segment with Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes arguing with Teddy Long. Zack Ryder and Aksana are there.

* Backstage segment with Mark Henry and Johnny Curtis.

* Sin Cara beat Tyson Kidd in a decent match. Hard to tell if Cara is someone else under the mask. Cara came out to a huge reaction.

* Alberto Del Rio beat Daniel Bryan by submission in a great match. Cheers for Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez before the match. Wade Barrett came out and attacked Bryan after the match.

* Cody Rhodes beat Ezekiel Jackson to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion after hitting Cross Rhodes.

* Backstage segment with Randy Orton talking about SummerSlam and tonight's match.

* Mark Henry beat Johnny Curtis. Sheamus came out after the match and confronted Henry.

* Randy Orton beat The Great Khali after an RKO. Christian came out and taunted Orton after the match, saying he's the best thing going.

+ Cody Rhodes on uusi IC-mestari, loistavaa! Toivottavasti pääsee vetelemään loistavia matseja muun muassa Daniel Bryania, Sin Caraa ja Justin Gabrielia vastaan.

+ Alberto Del Rio vs. Daniel Bryan. Varmasti todella kova matsi. Kusisin hunajaa, jos WWE bookkaisi salkkumiesten välisen revanssin SummerSlamiin. Barrett vs. Bryan ei kuulosta yhtä hyvältä, mutta kyllähän sekin kelpaa. Pääasia on se, että Bryan pääsee show'hun.

+ Beth ja Natalya viljelevät tuhoa ja saavat kaiken lisäksi yleisön suosionosoitukset puolelleen. Ja Kaitlyn on ruudussa. Kaitlyn on kuuma.

+ Randy Orton paukauttaa Khalille RKO:n. Miltäköhän se näyttää?

+ Sheamuksen bookkaaminen pysyy hyvänä. Toivottavasti hommaa ei nyt sitten ryssitä siten, että Henry voittaa irkun SummerSlamissa. Henrystä ei saa enää mitään irti, joten tehkää nyt Sheamuksesta tähti. Eiksje?

+ Teddy Longin toimistossa tapahtuu taas. Aksana ja Ryder ovat loistavia hahmoja pyörimään umpitylsän Teodoorin ympärillä.

+ Sin Caran ja Tyson Kiddin ottelu on pakko nähdä.

Eipä ole spoilereitten perusteella oikeastaan mitään pahaa sanottavaa tästä Smäkkäristä. Curtisin kohtalosta voisi tietysti valittaa, jos välittäisi miehestä, mutta kun minä en välitä, niin en valitakaan.

* Bret Hart opens the show and will be tonight's guest General Manager. Bret said he made the decision to take SmackDown live next Tuesday night and announces Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton for the World Title. Christian comes out and blames Edge for his loss at SummerSlam. Christian wants a rematch against Orton next Tuesday. Bret called Christian an embarrassment to Canada. Christian had a court order that says he gets his title shot before anyone else. Bret makes Christian vs. Orton in a Steel Cage for Tuesday. Mark Henry comes out and he's upset. Henry wants the winner of Orton vs. Christian and wants his title shot. Sheamus appears and says he's going to do something his uncle did once – castrate a black bull. Sheamus cleared Henry from the ring and then they re-filmed the whole Sheamus/Henry deal.

* Christian defeated Daniel Bryan with the Killswitch.

* Wade Barrett came out to face a local wrestler. Barrett talks about what he's done in WWE and says he won't face a local wrestler like this guy. Barrett said this is an embarrassment and left.

* Sin Cara defeated Heath Slater after a bad match. They had to re-film the ending because it was botched too bad.

* Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase came out. Cody talked about how he is going to resurrect the Intercontinental Title.

* Randy Orton beat Ted DiBiase with the RKO in a good match. After the match Cody hit DiBiase with CrossRhodes and put a brown paper bag over his head.

* Kelly Kelly defeated Tamina.

* Segment with Jinder Mahal and The Great Khali.

* Ezekiel Jackson defeated The Great Khali with the torture rack.

* Randy Orton appeared on the big screen and wondered how many times he has to face Christian after the cage match was advertised for Tuesday night.

* Sin Cara beat Heath Slater again. They re-did the whole match and it was significantly better than the first.

* Sheamus beat Mark Henry by count out after putting Henry into the announcer's table. After the match, Henry hit a World's Strongest Slam on Sheamus and the steel steps.

Raw started with John Laurinaitis walking to the ring. He said that he's not happy being in Mexico and he doesn't feel comfortable. He talked about what happened last week with Triple H, C.M. Punk, R-Truth, and The Miz. They played a video from last week showing Michael Cole laughing because Laurinaitis fired Jim Ross.

Laurinaitis announced that the main event would be Alberto Del Rio and Michael Cole vs. John Cena and Jim Ross. The winner will decide the stipulation for Del Rio vs. Cena at Vengeance.

1. Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes, and Christian defeated Randy Orton, Sheamus, and John Morrison. After the heels won, tthey continued with the brawl outside. Cody Rhodes tried to escape backstage, but Orton followed him to the back. Christian went through the crowd but Sheamus followed him also.

Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes was announced for the Vengeance pay-per-view.

2. Eve (w/Kelly Kelly) defeated Natalya (w/Beth Phoenix).

Beth Phoenix vs. Eve for the Divas Championship was announced for the pay-per-view.

3. CM Punk (w/Triple H) beat The Miz (w/R-Truth). During the match, John Laurinaitis walked down and showed a document to Triple H. He told Triple H to leave the ringside area and he did. After the match, Miz and Truth attacked Punk.

Vickie Guerrero walked to the ring with Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler. Vickie announced that Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger will face Air Boom for the Tag Titles at Vengeance.

4. Zack Ryder beat Jack Swagger. After the match, Swagger and Ziggler attacked Ryder. Mason Ryan ran out to make the save and he said the he wanted to face Ziggler tonight.

5. Dolph Ziggler beat Mason Ryan via DQ. Ryan attacked Ziggler on the ropes and the referee counted to five to disqualify Ryan.

It was announced to the live crowd that Sin Cara will meet Sin Cara in a mask vs. mask match at the Smackdown taping.

6. John Cena and Jim Ross defeated Alberto Del Rio and Michael Cole. Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment on Cole. Ross applied a submission hold on Cole's ankle, and then Cole tapped out. Cena chose to make his title shot against Del Rio a Last Man Standing match at Vengeance.

Dark Match

John Laurianaitis walked out and told Del that he will defend his WWE Title tonight against Cena.

1. John Cena beat Alberto Del Rio via DQ after Ricardo Rodriguez interfered. Cena hit Attitude Adjustments on Del Rio and Rodrigiguez and celebrated with fans. He said they made history with the first Raw taping in Mexico. He said he respects Alberto Del Rio, Sin Cara, and Rey Mysterio, and finally said thank you for coming.

* WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio opens up the show and talks about it being a historic SmackDown. Del Rio isn't up to wrestling tonight. Teddy Long comes out and announces Big Show vs. Del Rio for tonight.

* Mark Henry defeated John Morrison with the World's Strongest Slam.

* Teddy Long announces Sheamus vs. Christian and Zack Ryder vs. Dolph Ziggler for the United States Title at Vengeance. The Tag Team Title match must have changed.

* Wade Barrett defeated Daniel Bryan in a great match.

* Sheamus and Zack Ryder beat Christian and Dolph Ziggler in an excellent tag match. Ryder and Sheamus were both over big time.

* Cody Rhodes comes out with his baggers to cut a promo on Randy Orton and their match at Vengeance. Randy Orton comes out and ends up hitting the RKO on one of Cody's workers.

* Sin Cara Blue defeated Sin Cara Black in a Mask vs. Mask match. The original Sin Cara used the La Mistica for the win in a great match. Both were over with the crowd. After the match, Black Cara's mask had to be removed by force. Another report suggests that Blue Cara won by submission.

* Mil Mascaras came out to a big ovation. Triple H was joined by Carlos Cabrera in the ring to announce Mascaras for the 2012 Hall of Fame. This appeared to be an off-camera segment.

* WWE Divas Champion Natalya and Beth Phoenix come out to talk about Vengeance. Beth's opponent Eve Torres comes out. Eve ends up hitting Beth before fleeing the ring.

* Big Show defeated Alberto Del Rio by DQ in the main event after Ricardo Rodriguez interfered. Mark Henry came out pissed but Big Show stopped him from entering the ring and they stared each other down to end the show.
