Re: Mielenkiintoiset shootit ja haastattelut
Brian Fritzillä on kyllä paljon loistavia haastatteluita YouTubessa kanavalla Between The Ropes. Harva asia voittaa kunnon haastattelun.
Seuraavassa pätkässä Fritz haastattelee Damien Sandow'ta, jota selvästikin turhauttaa jatkuva jobbailu. Tsekatkaapas.
Viimeisessä linkittämässäni videossa on haastattelussa legendaarinen Dave Meltzer Wrestling Observerista.
Muitakin haastiksia on vaikka kuinka!

Luulokuningas tuolla NXT-ketjussa linkitteli yhden nettiin vuotaneen Presentation Skills -pätkän.

Kathie Lee @ I Can’t Believe I Said That kirjoitti:“Then there was the “animal” known as Ravishing Rick Rude. Now, I have a problem with Reege’s wrestling thing. We aren’t exactly McNeil-Lehrer out there, but I think the wrestlers’ shtick lowers the quality of the show a notch or two. Some of them are pretty sleazy. Rick Rude was about as low as the get, right down there with the Bushwhackers. If there was a gold championship belt for the most horrible disgusting-smelling people, the Bushwhackers would have been wearing it the day they came on. They tried to hold me and kiss me. First of all, I’m sorry, but don’t touch me, and second of all, I don’t kiss people I don’t want to kiss. And Cody (her then-infant son) was there with me that day. They chased me all over the set and I ran off, locked myself in my dressing room-nursery with Cody, and refused to come out. I was afraid they’d come right in there after me to bushwhack Cody.
“But the absolute low point was a year or so before when Ravishing Rick Rude came out, bragging about his “Rude Awakening” at wrestling arenas. Young women are hand-picked to go into the ring with him, where this muscle-bound baboon embraces and kisses them until they just pretend to faint dead away with ardor as he stands over his latest conquest. It’s a pathetic spectacle, so of course Gelman booked him.
“This guy comes out in his “Simply Ravishing” sequined robe, kisses my hand ever so gently, and sits there giving me the eye like he’d been behind bars for a decade. Nonstop. It’s not like we ask them tough questions – like, “Duhh, howdja get dose muscles?” We let them pretty much do their thing – which, cartoonish and entertaining as it is to some people, has its place in the world. But not this kind of stuff. I was so flustered I crossed my legs and one shoe dropped off my foot.
“Gracious host that I am, I humored him (“Rick, you’re sweet talking me”) while Reege sucked up to him by mooning over his title belt. (Rude was the WWF IC Champ at the time. -D) “This guy,” he said, “is the best built of all the wrestlers. He’s got a tremendous physique and great sex appeal.”
With an ego to match. He asked me how tall I was and I told him “really short, I got stumps for legs.” He leered at me and said, “Those don’t look like no stubs I’ve ever seen before.”
“Reege egged him on. “Honest to God, I sense something going on here! Frank is out of town, isn’t he?” Yeah, I said. Rick’s manager is now on. (Bobby Heenan) “This guy is looking her over and making her very nervous,” Reege tells him. “The woman is coming unglued.” “Kathie Lee needs a Rude Awakening,” the manager says. “Kathie Lee,” I say, “has had a few rude awakenings.” “Not this rude, not this rude.” “Over the airways, ” Rick says, staring at my body, “I could see that Kathie Lee was the most beautiful woman on television. Now, as I draw closer and closer, I just can’t believe it.”
“Rick gave a woman in the audience an “awakening” to stripper music and then dropped his robe in front of me. I was standing off now to the side. I didn’t believe what I saw. This was absolutely unscripted.
“On his clingy nothing-left-to -the-imagination Lycra tights, he had painted my face over his crotch. He stood there, hands behind his head, thrusting and flexing, half naked. It was so gross I didn’t know what to do or where to go. I put my hands over my face and ran up the stairs at the rear of the set.
“Meanwhile, he turned his butt to the camera and, of course, there was Reege’s face painted on his, Rick’s, quivering, gyrating glutes. Talk about “back end participation!” This got my vote for the worst breach of taste in the history of the show. Then Rick ran up the stairs after me and I came down, skipped over the couches and dashed off the set, amazed that I didn’t wipe out and hurt myself.”

Re: Mielenkiintoiset shootit ja haastattelut
Tuo Punkin shootti on todella karua kamaa.
CM Punk broke his silence and did not hold back on what happened with WWE and gave lots of details on what happened during the last few years leading up to January of this year. He also talked about the texts he got from Vince McMahon after he left the company and revealed that he was actually fired from the company on his wedding day. I’ve spit this up in several parts but here’s the whole recap of what was said.
I seriously recommend that you listen to this over at ColtCabana.com or subscribe to the Art of Wrestling podcast by clicking here.
Punk said that Colt had the idea to do this and Punk thought it was a good idea. Punk said that he doesn’t want this to be a shoot interview even though he could have been paid handsomely. He said he will talk about the circumstances on his WWE departure. He said if people have questions then they can set up an email. He joked and said not to ask how big Batista’s d**k is. That’s been a running joke on Kayfabe Commentaries shoots that started at the Figure Four Wrestling/Wrestling Observer website. There will be a part 2 next week with Punk answering fan emails.
Punk started with his resigning with WWE a couple of years ago. He said that he kind of talked himself into giving it the “old college try.” He said that people believe these words about change and changing the place. He said that when he left in January that they changed everything and part of him thinks that some of the changes were done to spite him but he doesn’t want to sound like an old timer. He just wants to tell his story, how it unfolded, and what happened and wants to do it in a positive and non-bitter way. Punk said it’s ok to be bitter about stuff but you have to work through it. He said there’s still a few things that get him every now and then. He admitted that he wasn’t always the easiest and nicest guy to deal with and reiterated that this is not a “shoot” interview. Punk says he’s been the happiest he’s been in at least three years. He said that the thing that he thought he loved made him so miserable. He said he was miserable, he was unhappy, so “f*ck it.” He said it was a long time coming even though it was not an easy decision to make.
He said that there’s assumptions about him being banged up, not being the main event at WrestleMania, etc. He said there’s an element of truth in all of those things. The big thing that led to his decision was his health. He talked about one day being in Boston talking with Vince about resigning with the company and he tells him that since the “pipebomb” promo they’re getting more mainstream attention and all of these mainstream publications wanted to interview him. He said that there were legit companies that wanted to sponsor him and he had a pretty big money deal on the table. He said that maybe he could switch to fight shorts so he could put sponsors on his shorts and Vince said “nope, you can’t do that.” He said that wrestlers and sponsors for Raw and wrestlers would get mad. Then Brock Lesnar comes back and he can get sponsors on his gear. Brock had pre-existing sponsors as part of his deal. Punk thought the sponsorship could be a new means of income for him and the boys. Vince “blows smoke up my ass” when Punk pointed out that Brock was able to get sponsors after turning down Punk’s sponsorship idea. Punk said that he also outsold Cena on merchandise and nobody else did.
He also talked about Chael Sonnen fighting one day before the Royal Rumble. Vince said “oh my God Phil we can’t do that. That’s barbaric. Somebody is gonna die.” Punk said that he was distancing himself from such a “horrible, barbaric product.” Vince then said “did you know that they’ll have women fight soon?” Punk told him him “yes, and it’ll be the hottest f*cking thing.” Punk was basically told no by Vince again. Then the next week Triple H walks Floyd Mayweather to the ring.
He said that WWE is a creatively, toxic, stifling environment. He said he’s been offered TV shows, movies, stunt work, and other things. Not just him but other guys too. He said that he was offered things and then he’s told that he can’t do it and then 2 weeks later John Cena is doing it. He said about 2 years ago Triple H says to Punk that WWE Studios wants him in a movie. Punk said that “they’re lame as f*ck” but he was cool with it because he would get house shows off and he would get a movie credit. It was supposed to be 12 Rounds 2 and he was supposed to be an EMT. He agrees to do it and he’s signing the papers and Punk tells Triple H that it’s the European tour. Punk was totally fine with missing the European tour but he was champion and wanted to make sure that it was ok. Punk says that they don’t advertise other wrestlers doing Make-A-Wish and Cena is the poster boy. Triple H tells him it’s not the European tour even though Punk says yes it is. Then the next day it’s announced on the internet that Randy Orton would be starring in 12 Rounds 2. Punk told Triple H that they could at least called him to let him know instead of having to find out online.
Colt played devils advocate and asked some of the things that fans ask on twitter when fans act like Punk owes them something. Punk says he loves his fans and he’s giving them an explanation. Punk says that nothing he does or say will make them all happy. Punk says that there’s so much stuff online that only a minuscule amount bugs him and it gets tiresome and people that say stuff to him wouldn’t say it to his face. He thinks that the entitlement from some fans is a generational thing. He said that nobody made him who he is, including WWE. “WWE was a fcking pit stop and I would not be defined by what I do for a living.” Colt said that for every dollar he made, WWE made 14. Punk said probably a lot more than that. He said that WWE’s job is to undermine what everyone’s worth. If you’re worth 8 million then they’ll pay you less because they need to profit. He said people eat a lot of shit because it’s their dream job and they don’t want to get fired. He said wrestling is the “weirdest fcking business in the world.” He said it’s the most bipolar business in the world because they want you to be this character 24/7 but if you are being mean on twitter to somebody then they will admonish you. He said that WWE should be a happy place to work but they use it as a “bizarre mindf*ck.” He said that people say well he made millions. Punk says yea he should have made 10 million.
Punk said that he was asking for months about the WWE Network. He said that WrestleMania was $70 in HD but now it’s $9.99 on the network. Punk would say “we haven’t figured that out yet.” Punk said that they should have figured that out before the pay-per-view. He said if you speak up then they take you off of shows and now you’re not making any money. He says WWE doesn’t do anything to protect the wrestlers, they do things to protect themselves. He said they do all of the concussion PR for the public, not the boys. He said the NFL is getting “fu*ked in the ass” because of lawsuits and Vince doesn’t want to do that so that’s why they do all this stuff on PR. He said that he took a concussion test after the Rumble this year and passed with flying colors even though he knew he had a concussion. He said that if you don’t work then you get punished. He said he never had a break. He was beat up and needed knee surgery. He told Vince that he needed his knee fixed and he’d do it after he lost to The Rock. He tried to convince them that dropping it to The Rock was not the right thing to do. He said that he pitched keeping the title and defending it against The Undertaker, among other scenarios. He said he remembers being excited being on a European tour that his elbow locked up on a 45 degree angle on a bus and not being able to move it much. He was excited because he realized he would get some surgery which means time off. He got surgery on a Wednesday or a Thursday and then Vince called him on a Friday. Punk said he would be rehabbing but Vince said they could get him back on TV to do promos. Punk said he wanted to show them that he was the best at his job even with his arm in a sling.
So, he’s scared about having a blood clot and dying because that’s what happened with Chris Candido. So he’s supposed to just cut a promo and Michael Hayes comes up to him and tells him he’s working. Hayes told him he was cleared even though Punk wasn’t cleared by the doctor in Birmingham. Then some Dr. Aman told the office that he was cleared.
He talked about WWE’s Nexus angle. He had just gotten laser eye surgery but he couldn’t let the Nexus guys know in advance because the company tried to hide the Nexus angle from him and Luke Gallows. He said that when they were beating him up some “assh*le” was sticking his finger in Punk’s eye. Luke Gallows asked Punk what they should do. Punk said to just started smacking people. Gallows started beating up Ryan Reeves (Ryback).
Punk lost quite a bit of money when Vince wouldn't let him have sponsors on his gear in 2011. A year later Lesnar shows up with Sponsors on his gear and Vince just laughs in Punk's face about it. He then loses more money when the network took away his PPV bonuses, so did the rest of the roster. Punk was one of like 2 people with the balls to ask about pay after the network started. Orton used to come to him (not HHH!) for info about pay post-network.
Vince told Punk he wasn't allowed walk his friend Chael Sonnen to the ring in UFC, which he thinks is a barbaric organisation. Then immediately he let HHH walk Floyd Mayweather to the ring (who hilariously got overshadowed by Justin Bieber if you recall)
When Punk treats wrestling like a business, people get mad at him for trying to make a profit. When Punk treats wrestling like a passion, people get mad at him for "acting like a mark". Punk reminiscences fondly about his days in IWA-MS when he made no money and had to piss in a community bucket.
Punk wrestled through a serious concussion, a fucked up leg, and a terribly fucked up elbow during his 434 day run because he felt that's what a champion has to do, because that's the kind of thing Harley Race would have done. The weight of tradition is felt by Punk.
A WWE doctor "cleared him to wrestle" without even seeing him before hand. He passed a WWE concussion test while texting Cabana and wearing headphones with music on.
The sole reason Punk went heel during 434 was for Rock. There was no long term planning, WWE couldn't even line up challengers for 30 days down the road during that run. Rock needed to be face when he came back, so Punk turned heel as a favour to Vince, despite that literally halfing the money he was making.
Punk created the Shield gimmick, period. Originally the writers were going to have >BIG SHOW be Punk's shield. Big Show. Let that sink in. Punk picked Chris Hero, Ambrose and Rollins as his shield. HHH shot down Hero, and inserted Reigns. Punk wanted 3 guys to work after Wrestlemania, and that was going to be the Shield. That got bait and switched on him.
Ryback "took 20 years off Punk's life/career". Punk calls Ryback a "steroid guy". Ryback broke a number of Punk's ribs with a single kick, while injured with other things.
Punk constantly asked Vince for just a little time off to recover from his injuries. Vince refused every time, despite owning Punk favours.
Stone Cold always says "If don't want to be the Champion of the World, you shouldn't be in wrestling". So that's Punk's attitude.
Cena, on occasion, will walk up to Vince and say "Fuck you Vince, this storyline is garbage". Orton, once in a blue moon, might do that. Outside of Cena, Punk and sometimes Orton, no one else can do that.
Punk wanted to get Curtis Axel over after HHH didn't get him over.
Punk says him and Haitch have never gotten along.
Punk confirms WWE never ever planned on having Daniel Bryan go over at Wrestlemania, and that their plans were Punk vs HHH and Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus. Batista vs Orton was the plan all along, and that only changed because they were forced to by Punk leaving. Batista never liked the plan because he's not stupid and knew the fans would turn on him.
Vince cried and hugged Punk when he left. HHH and Punk shock hands like men.
Punk had a staph infection for months and months and months because WWE's doctor is incompetent. A real doctor removed it in the most painful experience of his entire life. Punk could have died, and that's a shoot. People die of staph infections quite a lot actually.
They sent Punk his WWE contract termination papers on AJ & Punk's Wedding day. Punk was fired, he never quit.
In both Punk and Del Rio's termination papers, they specifically told them can't go to UFC. UFC isn't competition to WWE doe #StraightUpLies.
The most amazing thing to come out of the interview is that Punk didn't quit WWE - he was fired. While he left the company in January, he was told weeks later by Vince McMahon via text that he was suspended for two months. The next day, Vince told stockholders that Punk was on a "sabbatical." When the suspension ended, no one in WWE contacted Punk. When he reached out asking where royalties that were owed to him were, he got a run-around from WWE until he received termination papers informing him he was in breach of contract on his wedding day. So, they fired him on his wedding day in June 2014, which Punk said was "going too f**ing far." Punk claimed the company tried to find him in "retro-breach" in June, instead of claiming he breached his deal back in January 2014.
*Punk said he left WWE the day after The Royal Rumble for one main reason: his health. Duringt the Punk goes into great, esquisite detail about the last several months in the company, which includes Punk being so injured that he's working with broken ribs (thanks to Ryback), a concussion (which he ignored and still went to work a European tour with) and injured knees, getting so sick on the aforementioned European tour that he was puking and dry heaving every night after wrestling, being given so many antibiotics by WWE's doctors that he pooped himself in the ring on Smackdown all while watching his checks shrink. Punk described it as the worst he ever felt in his life and being unable to sleep he was so sick and that it had been going on since before the November European tour.
At the Royal Rumble, Punk suffered a concussion early on and still worked the entire match. The next day, he passed the company's concussion test (which he called "bullsh) while texting Colt Cabana and wearing headphones. WWE then told him he passed the test but they wanted him to go run the ring ropes to check him again. At that point, Punk demanded they just decide he has a concussion and admits until then he was just trying to deny he was hurt and tough it out. When the company began pressuring him about signing visas for future tours and taking a drug test instead of listening to his requests to "f**ing help me" because something was obviously wrong, Punk says he decides to tell Vince McMagon and Triple H he's going home. Punk's version of this is something to behold as he tears into Triple H for cutting off his momentum in 2011 (Punk goes into great detail on issues with HHH), complains to Vince that he's stifled Punk's creativity and tells them both it's garbage they aren't considering Daniel Bryan for the main event of Wrestlemania 30, passing him by the way they've passed Punk by. He told them he was done and didn't want to do this anymore.
*Punk also told a story of going to WWE's doctor because he found a lump on his back. The WWE Doctor, identified by Punk as Chris Amann, diagnoses it as a fat deposit. Punk tells several stories of asking for Amann to cut it out, but Amann says no several times with Punk describing him as "lazy." The deposit got bigger but Amann declined to take it out as Punk had to wrestle. The day of the Rumble, he told Amann that it was now badly hurting and purple and bigger. Amann told him he couldn't do it because Punk had to work the Rumble. After the Rumble, Punk demanded it be cut out and Amann noted that Punk would need to be on antibiotics, to which Punk responded that he had been put on antibiotics for three months. After leaving WWE and it not getting better, AJ Lee had him go to her doctor, who not knowing who Punk was or any background information, immediately diagnosed Punk with a MERSA staph infection and proceeded to squeeze the lump so hard the puss hit the ceiling. So, Punk had been wrestling the last few months with a staph infection in his back and according to his story, it was ignored and/or misdiagnosed by WWE's medical staff. When the doctor asked Punk how long he's had the lump and Punk told him a few months, the doctor told him, "You should be dead."
*Punk talked about how badly hurt he was and that on two occasions, he literally came out of surgery (and in one story, was walking out of the hospital following knee surgery) to find out he was being brought back almost immediately. After elbow surgery, he was told he was being brought back to the road and TV to cut promos and after the knee surgery, was told he was being brought back in three weeks to work a TLC match against Ryback.
Punk described his wrestling career as a failure as he failed to get to the main event of Wrestlemania. He said that it was ridiculous that so many current roster members have been in the main event and said he needed to get there so he could learn to work at that level and get better and draw more. He said he would hear he wasn't a draw, but every chance he had, he "shoved it down their f**ing throats." He said that it all comes down to an "out of touch old man" (Vince McMahon) and his decisions. Punk said he knew he had the best match at Wrestlemania 29 and he was praised for it, but he knew he didn't get the money that John Cena, Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Rock, and Triple H got for the show.
*Punk said that he didn't hold them up for money and didn't ask for anything and didn't walk out in the middle of a storyline. He was chokeslammed by Kane and he was gone. He went home for his health and sanity, although he did note he was frustrated with seeing smaller checks and not getting answers as to how the WWE Network will change the pay scale. Punk noted that everyone was afraid to ask Vince McMahon and even Randy Orton was coming to him asking if he knew anything.
*The most amazing thing to come out of the interview is that Punk didn't quit WWE - he was fired. While he left the company in January, he was told weeks later by Vince McMahon via text that he was suspended for two months. The next day, Vince told stockholders that Punk was on a "sabbatical." When he reached out asking where royalties that were owed to him were, he got a run-around from WWE until he received termination papers informing him he was in breach of contract on his wedding day. So, they fired him on his wedding day, which Punk said was "crossing the line and pushing too far."
*Punk said that he hired a very vicious lawyer to go after WWE to fight the breach and in the end, he got a settlement that gave him everything he asked for "and more." He said he's just not allowed to talk about the settlement, but pretty much made it clear he got everything he wanted and noted it was stupid of WWE to even advertise him for the next WWE DVD. He said he is completely done and clear of WWE and they will never, ever have a working relationship ever again. He said they were terrified that as an independent contract for the last ten years, that he would take them to court and ruin their way of doing business.
*Punk talked in details about WWE using the independent contractor status, noting the company does concussion testing to help themselves, not the wrestlers. He noted all the money the NFL Player's Union is forcing the NFL to pay for old injuries and medical concerns of players and that WWE is doing all this to prevent wrestlers from being able to say that they aren't. Punk said that if WWE truly cared for the talents, they would allow a union to be created for the talents.
Punk also noted that he was to star in "12 Rounds 2" and when he told Triple H the shooting dates were the same dates as a WWE European tour, Triple H tells him that's not the case but he will look into it. The next day, WWE announced Randy Orton would star in the move with HHH never calling Punk to inform him of the change because Punk said, "He thinks I'm a piece of sh*."
*Punk said wrestling Ryback took "20 years off his life" and talked in detail about how badly hurt he was working with, as Punk described him, "Steroid guy."
*WWE was afraid he was going to TNA, but his lawyer told WWE that he despises wrestling now and will never wrestle again.
Mistä vetoa, että CM Punk chantit lähtevät täysin käsistä?

Aika karua settiä on kyllä.
