Vuosi sitten se yllätti kaikki 8865:llä katsojalla, joten paljon huonommin ei mennyt tällä kertaa, vaikka tärkeistä otteluista Naomichi Marufuji vs. Kota Ibushi peruuntui muutamaa päivää aiemmin Ibushin loukkaannuttua. DDT on siis kokonsa puolesta yleensä ROHiin verrattu pikkupromootio, joka ei saa n. 2000 katsojan Korakuen Hallia ikinä täyteen ja muualla katsojia on korkeintaan muutama sata. Japanin ykköspromootio New Japan on tuon katsojamäärän ylittänyt tänä vuonna vain Tokyo Domessa ja WWE:ltä se jäänee Japanissa kokonaan saavuttamatta.

On NOAH kaksi kertaa suunnilleen tuon verran vetänyt Nippon Budokaniin tänä vuonna. Siihen on tosin tarvittu kovia nimiä muualta kun helmikuussa mukana oli mm. Togi Makabe mestaruusmatsissa, Yoshihiro Takayama, Toshiaki Kawada, Minoru Suzuki ja Kensuke Sasaki. Toukokuussa taas houkutuksena oli Global League -turnauksen finaalipäivä, jossa mukana NOAH-väen lisäksi muutama edellä mainituista. Sen jälkeen on mennyt varsin huonosti isoimmissa tapahtumissa hallien ollessa puolillaan kun 10.7. erittäin tasokas card (Sugiura vs. Takayama, Shiozaki vs. Tanahashi, Morishima vs. Yoshie jne.) veti vain 5300 katsojaa Tokyo Ariake Colosseumiin ja 24.7. PPV Osakassa (Sasaki vs. Shiozaki sekä Yuji Nagata ja Shinsuke Nakamura New Japanista jne.) 3500 katsojaa.

Täytyy vielä sen verran tarkentaa, että New Japanilla on toki vasta isoimmat Sumo Hallin show't edessä kun kohta alkaa G1 Climax, jonka viimeinen tai kenties kaksi viimeistä show'ta kerää enemmän katsojia kuin DDT. Lisäksi Dragon Gate on tänä vuonna pari kertaa yltänyt tuonne 10 000 katsojan paikkeille, mutta sen promootion touhuista en tiedä juuri mitään.

Mahtavalta kyllä vaikuttaa. Ensimmäinen wrestling DVD jonka ostan, pakko-ostoshan tämä nyt on. Odotan erityisesti kaikkia WCW hetkiä, vaikka noista suurimman osan oonkin Youtubesta nähnyt ja sitten noita matseja joissa voi valita Jerichon ja Strikerin selostuksen.


E: Ehkä Jerichon kommentointi menee jotenkin näin tossa "Cowboy" Jericho vs Storm matsissa. :D

According to multiple sources within World Wrestling Entertainment, the company has signed reigning ROH World Champion Tyler Black to a contract.

It is believed that Black signed a developmental deal with WWE, but it has not been confirmed. He is expected to start with the company in September.

Black, who has been with Ring of Honor since 2007, has several title defenses scheduled next month. He will defend the ROH World Championship at the Glory by Honor Internet pay-per-view on Sept. 11 against Roderick Strong.

Black recently indicated on his Twitter account that he had some “decisions” to make, which sparked rumors that he would be joining WWE

Black vaatii kyllä aivan helvetisti hiomista vielä ennen kuin mitään tuollaista voisi tapahtua. Katsoisin mielummin tunnin iron man matsin Khalin ja Henryn välillä kuin parin minuutin promon Blackiltä.

Noh noh! Kyllä se Tyler vielä oppii promottamaan, mutta miehellä on jo valmiina superstar-lookki ja hyvät kehätaidot.

Kyllä ne kaikki omat suosikit pikkuhiljaa löytävät tiensä WWE:hen..

Tylerista on kyllä helvetinmoinen hiominen kaukana, mies on jo tässä vaiheessa parempi kokonaisuus kuin lähin WWE-verrokki Morrison. Molemmilla on loistava look, Black on loistava kehässäkin ja kumpikaan ei osaa puhua.

Itsehän olen vakaasti sitä mieltä, että kumpikin toimisi WWE:n main eventissä tälläkin hetkellä symppiksenä hyviksenä, ainakin paremmin kuin Mysterio.

NXT:n kolmoskauden indyvetonaula onkin sitten selvillä. Tätä seuraa tietenkin "häviöputki jolla saadaan WWE-universumi miehen puolelle" ja uusi annos antismark-Colea.

Nyt sitten arvailemaan uusinta nimimuunnelmaa... Blackie Tyler? Tyler Lopez? Colby McTyler? Tyler O'Blackendecker?

Joo, kyllä siitä Tylerista saadaan vielä kunnon supertähti. Itse ainakin luotan siihen, koska pidän miehestä.

No tällainen yksittäinen pitäminen ei kuitenkaan asiaa paljon edistä. Muistakaa nyt kuitenkin kuinka tylsä mm. Danielsonista leivottiin hetkessä, eikä Tylerillä ole sitä vähääkään indyikonin leimaa perseessään.

Helvetti soikoon. Miten en itse muista tällaista lainkaan?!

Jotenkin tässä heräsi sellainen kutina ettet nähnyt koskaan Danielsonia WWE:n ulkopuolella? Hyvä juttu, ehkä sen Tylerinkin WWE-runia ja tapahtunutta muutosta on helppo kommentoida nimen perusteella.
